How these security reviews are checked

A product is not recommended because its landing page lists many threats. Each review should answer four narrower questions: Is the current installer and documentation available? Does the product let a user review or quarantine detections? Are free and paid limitations stated clearly? Can the main claims be separated from vendor marketing?

We check current official documentation, supported platforms, scan and quarantine workflow, browser-protection scope, and recent independent certification when one is available. We explicitly label anything we did not test, including comparative detection rates. Old screenshots or a vendor’s sample count are not sufficient evidence for a current verdict.

The safest buying test remains practical: use the official download, create a restore or backup path, quarantine uncertain results, and verify the system before permanent deletion.
