Windows 7 reminds to stop supporting

Microsoft ask an update to Windows 7 users that is intrusively notifying that it has stopped supporting this version of the operating system. The life cycle of Windows 7 will come to an end on January 14, 2020.

As already noted above, Microsoft uses a rather intrusive manner of notifying that support has been discontinued – it is similar to the one when the corporation called for upgrading to Windows 7.

Thus, if you do not want to receive constant reminders that your system is outdated long ago, we recommend not installing this update kb4493132.

For those who are not up to date, let us clarify once again what implies the cessation of support for the Microsoft OS. In fact, you will no longer receive security updates, which could potentially put (and most likely put) your system at risk of infection.

Microsoft wants to upgrade to Windows 10 for everyone. The link from the discontinuation notifications leads to the Windows 7 site, which recommends using a more current version of the operating system.
