Google changed safety politics in Play Store

Changes aim to prevent any opportunities for malware developers to post their products in Google Play Store.

In particular, Google implemented new limitations for Android API, and now prior to Play Store publication application will undergo a complicated safety check.

Among other improvements is testing of new applications by people instead of automatized systems. Moreover, for applications were used limitations as access to certain services as history of calls and SMS.

Next, Google Play protection is reinforced with a scanner that seeks for malware programs in applications base; another newly introduced measure is program of revenue for vulnerabilities detection.

“While the vast majority of developers on Android are well-meaning, some accounts are suspended for serious violation of policies that protect our shared users… While 99%+ of these suspension decisions are correct, we are also very sensitive to how impactful it can be if your account has been disabled in error”, — reported in a Googleblog.

Now owner of blocked by error account can immediately appeal and Android team will carefully study every case. If check will prove that account was blocked by mistake, access to it will be restored.
