Users around the world are reporting that they are not able to access both Facebook and Instagram. When attempting to do so, they are given mistakes or upkeep messages stating that the services understand the problem and are dealing with restoring access.
This outage started within the last hour and it is affecting users all over the world including in the USA, Europe, and Asia:
When users try to utilize Facebook or Instagram they are reporting:
“Facebook will be back soon” and that the site “is down for requirement maintenance“.
It is not known if this is a scheduled outage, an issue with their servers, or if the service is under attack.
