The company confirmed this on official Twitter account claiming that all names, addresses, and banking information were stolen. The good news is that the hackers didn’t get victim’s passport numbers and travel details.
Why does it happen no one knows, but British Airways convinces that the case will be investigated.
“We are investigating, as a matter of urgency, the theft of customer data from our website and our mobile app,” the company said in a statement. “The stolen data did not include travel or passport details.”
