Sign up for service or anonymously complain on terrorism threat now possible through CIA’a .onion site

US Central Investigational Agency reported about launching a web-site in Tor network.

Resource intended mainly persons that want anonymously provide agency with some important information or those who seek employment.

Decision to create own .onion website is the optimal step as it is “safer, anonymous and it is impossible to trace it”, explained in the intelligence service.

“Our global mission demands that individuals can access us securely from anywhere. Creating an onion site is just one of many ways we’re going where people are,” – said Brittany Bramell, CIA’s Director of Public Affairs.

In fact, resource will be a full copy of official CIA website; however, it will be possible to enter it through Tor and other browsers that support access to anonymous networks, for example, through the Brave, where is suggested inbuilt Tor version in alternative private mode.

Mozilla also promised to integrate Tor in Firefox browser in the frames of their Fusion project.

Tor network — is a system of proxy-servers that are intended for network connection in the anonymous mode, protected from listening and without possibility of tracing user’s actions. Traffic anonymity achieved because of worldwide distribution of the servers’ network worldwide with forwarding on dozens (and hundreds, in some cases) nodes. Everyone who downloads Tor and install it on computer or mobile application can use this option.
